Meet Bridget

Hi there!

I am so so super excited that you have found your way to my site and I thank you for considering me for your photography needs! I am an on location, natural light photographer based out of Union County in Eastern Oregon with occasional trips to Reno/Tahoe and Ely Nevada.  My creative juices are usually spent shooting families, high school seniors and weddings but I am always up for a challenge outside of my comfort zone.

I have a tendency to talk a lot and that might have something to do with my other job of being a stay at home mom and keeping conversation with little one's all day so please bare with me and this "brief" run through of my life!

I grew up on my Grandpa's ranch in the super small town of Hiko, Nevada before moving to Fernley when I was 16. During my high school years I played basketball, ran cross country and competed in High School Rodeo. I was a state champion my freshman year and competed at the National High School Rodeo 3 of my 4 years of high school. I guess I am a cowgirl at heart and you will find hints of this scattered throughout my site and my work! I continued my education after high school at UNR in Reno, NV where I received a Bachelors degree in Business Management and Human Resources. I met my adoring husband in high school and was smitten almost immediatly! We were finally married in 2009 after almost 9 years together. We welcomed our super cute, super silly son in 2011 and our perfect, sparkly little daughter in 2013.

Enough about about my photography?

I am always at a loss to express how I feel about photography and why I have chosen to do this as a "job". I can best describe this in the feeling that I have when a session is finished and I am driving home. I am giddy, exuburent, loud, singing along with the radio at the top of my lungs, giggling and smiling! I feel this same excitement at midnight when I am up editing and come across an image that is just "it"! These shots, these moments captured keep me going. They keep me striving to be better. They remind me each and everyday why I do this!

In 2012 I lost my best little sister. As I was preparing for her funeral and culling through the thousands of images of her I suddenly became aware of the importance of photography. Not just the posed portraits, but the candids. Those real moments that last a lifetime and beyond.

I want to create images like this for you. The real moments. The love. The laughter. The uniqueness of you.

Just show me your love and your fun.......I will take care of the rest!
